The bicycle kick (or scissor kick) is a kick that is performed by jumping into the air and pushing one leg in front of the other without the support of the ground. This kick is one of the most difficult to perform in soccer. Bicycle Kick Champ is a soccer game that focuses on the bicycle kick. This soccer game does not star Liu Kang of Mortal Kombat fame.

The objective of Bicycle Kick Champ is to score as many goals as possible within one minute and thirty seconds. At the beginning of the game, you must choose which of the five teams that you wish to play for. Your team selection is purely aesthetic and has no effect on the actual gameplay of this soccer game. Once you have made your selection, you will take to the field and the clock will start.

Bicycle Kick Champ is controlled by using the mouse. Move your mouse to move the player. Click the left mouse button to perform a bicycle kick. The ideal time to kick is when the ball is over your player's head. If you want to kick the ball with more loft, then make sure that the cursor is below your player's waist; if you want to kick the ball downwards, then place your mouse cursor near your player's head. After each kick, a new ball will be thrown to you; you can kick as many times as you can within the time limit.

Each goal that you make is worth one hundred points in this soccer game. After each scored goal, the difficulty will ramp up. More opposing defenders will take position on the field and the goalkeeper's reaction time will quicken. To overcome this, try to kick the ball over the heads of defenders later in the game. Aiming for the corners of the goal also makes it easier to score.
