Champion Soccer 2006 is a simple soccer game that provides a great test of hand-eye coordination. Champion Soccer 2006 features lovely graphics, spectacular sounds, and simple gameplay that is similar to a Flash version of paddle ball that employs the use of a soccer ball.

Although Champion Soccer 2006 uses a soccer ball, there are no goals to kick into or to defend. Your objective in this point-and-click game is to keep the ball airborne for as long as possible. Each time you click the ball, you will spike it upwards and gain one point. If the ball touches the ground, your score will be reset, but you will be able to immediately try again. There is no way to win or lose, so just do your best to get as high of a score as possible.

You can guide the direction of the ball in Champion Soccer 2006 by clicking on one of its sides. Kicking the ball in the middle launches the ball straight up, but clicking on one of its sides causes it to drift to the opposite side (example: clicking the ball on its left will cause it to go right). The further from the center that you click, the more radically it will fly to the other side. It should also be noted that the ball will bounce off of the sides of the screen in this soccer game.

Occasionally, coins will appear on screen. These coins can be collecting by making the ball collide into them, increasing your score. If you want to try to collect these coins, I advise you to collect those close to you so that you will only have to make small adjustments to the path of your ball. Making radical adjustments may make it more difficult to keep in the air, causing you to forfeit your entire score if the ball touches the ground.

Champion Soccer 2006 may not put you in a position to lead a team to championship glory, but it is an entertaining soccer game nonetheless. Despite its simplicity, Champion Soccer 2006 is strangely addicting!
