Hummer Football 2 is the sequel to the soccer game, Hummer Football. Hummer Football 2 features superior graphics and an improved physics engine while retaining the challenging gameplay of its predecessor.

If you have played the first Hummer Football, then Hummer Football 2 should not be too much trouble for you to figure out. The objective is still to score more goals than the opposing team, but this time around the game lasts for three minutes rather than two. Teams also field three vehicles rather than two. Once again, there is no tournament mode in this soccer game, so only single matches can be played.

Hummer Football 2 uses keyboard controls similar to those of its predecessor. The up and down arrow keys are used to drive forward and backward. The left and right arrow keys are used to steer your vehicle. To switch between cars, press the Z key. The handbrake has been removed in this driving game and replaced with the ability to kick. If you are pushing the ball in front of your vehicle, you can press the spacebar to launch the ball forward. This makes scoring goals much easier in Hummer Football 2 than it was in the first Hummer Football, but lack of a handbrake makes it more difficult to control your Hummer. Luckily, the playing field is not as slick as it was in the first game of this soccer game series.

Overall, Hummer Football 2 is an improvement over the original Hummer Football, but it is not without flaws. The improved engine seems to cause slowdown that was not present in the first game. The AI is still far from perfect, and it is difficult to coordinate a team effort. The ability to kick the ball makes it easier to hog the ball for yourself and score goals, but having good computer-controlled teammates would make this soccer game more enjoyable.

If you enjoyed the first Hummer Football, then Hummer Football 2 is worth giving a play. The ability to kick and removal of the handbrake change some of the gameplay dynamics, and may make this soccer game easier or harder for some players.
