Micro Soccer Football is a soccer game, not a hybrid sport of soccer and American football as the name may imply for some (keep in mind that soccer is known as association football outside of the United States). Micro Soccer Football features four difficulty levels, thrilling gameplay, and player sprites that bear an uncanny resemblance to Mega Man (or Rockman for you diehard Japanophiles).

The objective of Micro Soccer Football is to score as many goals against your opponent as you can while preventing your opponents from scoring against you. The duration of the game is ninety seconds. In this soccer game, you control the white team and your goal is to the left of the field. Each team fields four players. The team that scores the most goals at the end of the round wins.

Micro Soccer Football is challenging, but it is not extremely difficult. For this reason, new players can probably start on medium difficulty, but I still advise you to play on easy difficulty to get a grasp of the controls. The left and right arrow keys move your current player and the up arrow key causes him to jump. You can only control on player at a time in this soccer game, and the computer will not control players for you. To cycle through the four players on your team, press the down arrow key.

In Micro Soccer Football, the ball is automatically kicked (or spiked) when a player comes in contact with it. For this reason, you must be extraordinarily careful when facing your own goal, because you run the risk of scoring for the opposing team! Always be cautious when the ball is behind your player. In this situation, it is often best to select a character that is between your goal and the ball if possible. If there are no such players on the field, you may try to jump over the ball, but remember that you do not want to score your the other side!
