Penalty Shootout 2010 Walkthrough
Penalty Shootout 2010 is a soccer game loosely based on the 2010 FIFA World Cup. This soccer game features thirty-two teams, simple controls, and impressive animation. The annoying buzz of the vuvuzela can also be toggled on or off, giving players the full experience of being at the 2010 World Cup.
Your goal (pun intended) in Penalty Shootout 2010 is to defeat your opponents and lead your team to championship glory. The tournament in this soccer game follows the rules of the World Cup. First, you will have to play matches against the three teams in your group. The two teams in the group with the most wins advance to a round-robin tournament known as the knockout phase. If you are defeated in this phase, the game will end, but if you manage to defeat all of your opponents, then you will be champion!
Teams take turns kicking and goalkeeping in Penalty Shootout 2010. Each team has five chances to score goals. When all kicks have been taken, the team that has scored the most will win. When kicking, click on the button in the lower-right corner of the screen to set the height of your kick. Click the button again to set the direction of your shot, and one final time to set your shot power. When goalkeeping, simply click where you want your goalie to dive and attempt to make the save.
Penalty Shootout 2010 can be challenging, but if you pay close attention, it can be a cakewalk. There is no way to trick the AI when shooting, so all you can do is kick accurately and hope that the AI dives in the wrong direction. Powerful kicks work well, but if you are aiming high or for the sides of the goal, you run the risk of missing. Try to aim slightly to the left or right of the center of the goal and use medium height and power for best results. Goalkeeping is where this soccer game is won. Before your opponent takes their shot, a white 'X' will flash on the goal. Click this position when your opponent kicks and you will make the save every time. There is no guarantee that you will make every shot, but you can indeed block each of your opponent's shots to keep them from scoring, thus winning the game.
Penalty Shootout 2010 is a straightforward and addictive soccer game. Do you have what it takes to lead your team to victory? Find out in Penalty Shootout 2010!
