Penalty Shootout Junkies is a simple and addicting Flash soccer game. Penalty Shootout Junkies features simple top-down stick figure graphics, two difficulty levels, and extremely challenging gameplay.

As the name of the game implies, Penalty Shootout Junkies puts you in a penalty kick shootout against the computer. Both you and your opponent get five kicks and will alternate between kicking and defending. The player with the most goals at the end of the shootout wins. This soccer game only focuses on penalty kicks, so you will not have to worry about playing the field or passing between teammates. If this is your first time playing Penalty Shootout Junkies, I suggest for you to play at the normal difficulty level. The normal difficulty level is challenging enough, and only a seasoned veteran should attempt to play this soccer game on the hard difficulty level.

Penalty Shootout Junkies is controlled by using the keyboard and the mouse. When kicking, a line will move from left to right and back to indicate the direction that you will kick the ball. Make sure that the end of this line is inside of the goal, or you will surely miss your shot. After clicking once to stop this line, the line will begin to fill with red coloration. This indicates the power of your kick. If you kick too hard, the ball will go over the net, but if you kick the ball too softly, it will fall short of the goal. It is a good idea to click slightly before the indicator reaches your desired power level because its fast movement is part of what adds to the challenge of this soccer game.

When playing as the goalkeeper in this soccer game, you must use your arrow keys to move. You may click or double click to dive in the direction that you are moving, but this is not always necessary and will cost you the save if done at an inappropriate time. Between kicks you must use the arrow keys to get to and from the goal or the ball and commence gameplay.
