Side Kick 2007 Walkthrough
Side Kick 2007 is a soccer game featuring great graphics, realistic audio, and frantic gameplay. This soccer game features thirty-six different teams representing their respective countries.
Side Kick 2007 is a soccer game that is true to the sport. At the start of each game, you select which team you wish to play as, then the match gets underway! The team that you choose has no effect on gameplay, and all teams and players are equal, and the team that you choose is simply a personal preference that will only effect the color of your uniforms.
Each match in Side Kick 2007 is broken into two halves. After each half, the tams will switch sides of the field. The default length of each match is twelve minutes, but you can change this in the options menu at the start of the game. You may choose to have between two-minute and twenty-minute matches, in increments of one minute.
Each team fields eleven players, and must score as many points as possible while preventing your opponents from doing the same. This is easier said than done in this soccer game, because the action is frantically-paced, and you are only able to control one of your players at once.
Side Kick 2007 features a very tough AI, but the game is fair to both the computer-controlled opponents and to human players. The AI is forced to follow the rules of the sport just as you are, and they will be penalized for infractions. This game also allows you to play against a human opponent using the same computer, or sit back and watch the computer play against itself!
In order to become a champion in Side Kick 2007, it is important to know how to control your players. Unlike other soccer games, Side Kick 2007 does not have multiple buttons for passing, shooting, and tackling; instead, there is only a single action button. When you are in control of the ball, the action button will kick the ball. Hold the button down longer to kick the ball farther. Your kick power is represented by a small bar that appears adjacent to your player while the action button is depressed. If you are not in control of the ball, the action button will cause your player to slide in an attempt to steal the ball from your opponent. Finally, when you are playing defense, a line will appear leading from your player to the position of the ball, so that you'll know where to go.
Side Kick 2007 is a great soccer game for those that enjoy realistic action. True fans of the sport will enjoy this well-made soccer game!
